44 Habits To Hack Life

You've heard it said, "Practice what you preach," but let's consider the reverse of this statement. Most of us preach what's practiced. Simply stated, we tell others about our experiences-good, bad, and indifferent. The challenge lies in advising others about situations we haven't experienced. How do we preach what we've never practiced? Furthermore, how does onethoroughly execute based on assumptions or receive proper counsel fromone who has not lived the life, put in the work, or successfully navigated the course?

This book was written as a way to preach what I've practiced, to tell of myexperiences which led me to achieve the things God placed in my heart. It's a book containing ageless values for life-personal, ministry, and business. It contains over forty insights into successes I've experienced as well as practiced failures God helped me to overcome.

I realize that experience is a good teacher, but it's not always necessary to go through what others have gone through, especially if the actions of others contributed to their detriment or worse, harmed others. Discovering what not to do because of what others endured can be as enlightening as first-hand experience but a lot less damaging and frustrating.

Know that what God has placed in your heart is valuable and may very well impact this world in a powerful way. Remember, though, that there is a way of doing that brings God glory and glorifies the doer. The Bible speaks of this in Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction and a haughty [self-important] spirit before a fall." With the help of this book, I hope that you discover how to successfully navigate your course and decide to glorify God as you practice what He puts inside your heart.
